RETAIL BASIC ARCHITECTURE AND NAVIGATION
This module introduces participants to the application and the basic navigational tools in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
RETAIL ORGANIZATION MODEL
This module is designed to introduce you to Organization models in 365 for Retail, focusing on the use of organizations and hierarchies and explain why modeling an organization is an important process for retailers.
RETAIL CHANNELS
This module will review the retail channels in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail, including retail brick and mortar stores, online stores, and call centers. This course will give students a basics understanding of how each of these channels operates within the organization.
RETAIL STORE LOCATOR
This module will look at using store locator groups to logically group stores together for reporting and inquiry purposes. The course will review what store locators are and the setup processes.
INFO CODES FOR RETAIL
This module will review retail channel info codes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail. This eLearning will also focus on the setup of info codes and subcodes, info code grouping, assigning info codes, as well as translating info codes.
RETAIL PARAMETERS
This module will review the setup of various parameters required for retail setup in 365 for Retail. There are three parameter forms in 365 for Retail in retail, one that is company specific parameters, one that is for parameters that are shared across legal entities, and one for configuring the retail scheduler which is responsible for publishing data to and from the 365 for Retail database and the channel databases.
SALES TAX FOR RETAIL
This module will review the sales tax setup at a high level focusing primarily on sales tax setup and features that are specific to retail. The course will focus on explaining the concepts of sales tax in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail, as well as configuration.
RETAIL PAYMENT MANAGEMENT
This module will review the knowledge and skill required to manage payment methods for retail channels. After taking this course, students will understand payment types, card setup, channel payment methods, and configuration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
RETAIL POS SETUP
This module will review the basic point of sale setup, which includes review of the POS setup, review of the POS profiles, receipt formats and hardware profiles. After course completion, students will be able to understand high-level POS setup procedures.
RETAIL POS DESIGN
This module will look at designing the layout of the POS including the enterprise and modern POS. Students will be able to understand the components that make up a good POS design, as well as understand high-level steps for designing the POS layout.
RETAIL WORKERS AND SECURITY
This module will review the following setups for retail worker which provides access to the store staff at the POS register. We will also look at the Retail worker overview, POS permissions, jobs, position, and worker setup.
LOYALTY MANAGEMENT FOR RETAIL
This module will review Loyalty management for retail channels within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail. This course will help students better understand how to apply loyalty programs across legal entities in any retail channel as well.
RETAIL GIFT CARDS
This module we will discuss the process for configuring gift cards to be sold and used as a method of payment in retail channels. After completing this course, students will understand the high-level process of setting up, modifying, and viewing gift cards.
RETAIL IT
This module we will discuss Retail IT and its functions in Dynamics 365 for Retail.
JOURNALS AND RETAIL
This module we will review those inquiry forms and how you can use them to find the information you are looking for. The retail module includes a variety of inquiry forms that you can use to view and drill down into the details of various types of transactions that are posted and created with the retail features, we will look into these forms in closer detail.
RETAIL INQUIRIES
This module describes how to create, calculate, and post statements. This is a necessary process in Dynamics 365 for Retail that is used to reconcile and generate the general ledger entries related to the transactions that have occurred in the POS.
RETAIL WORKFLOW
In this chapter, we discuss the retail workflows that are available out of the box. Workflows are a business process that allow you to configure the various steps and operations that are performed by various people in your organizations. The workflow system in Dynamics 365 for Retail is designed to automatically process the tasks that are configured in the system to route the document to the appropriate people. The system can send automatic email notifications, and provides functionality for escalation and delegation of tasks.
VARIANTS IN RETAIL
In this chapter we learn how to manage product variants in Dynamics 365 for Retail. A product variant is a combination of product dimensions such as size, color, style, and configuration that further define a specific product.
RETAIL BARCODES AND LABELS
In this chapter we address the setup and creation of Barcodes and Labels in Dynamics 365 for Retail. Barcodes are an important element in any retail store as they are used to identify the product. If you plan to print and create your own labels for your product and shelves in the retail store it will be important to configure the barcode correctly so that it will print and be readable by your barcode scanner device at the POS register.
RETAIL CATEGORY HIERARCHIES
In this chapter we learn about category hierarchies along with attributes framework and variant groups. Category hierarchies are used to classify products or transactions for reporting and analysis. An organization can create more than one category hierarchy. For example, your organization might create one category hierarchy for classifying products that it buys, and another hierarchy for products that it sells.
RELEASED PRODUCTS AND CATALOGS
In this chapter we learn how to setup products and catalogs so they can be sold in your retail channels. You can use retail product catalogs to identify the products that you want to offer in your online stores and call centers. When you create the catalog, you identify the retail channels that the products are offered in, add the products that you want to include, and enhance the product offerings by adding merchandising details.
RETAIL ASSORTMENTS
In this module, we will review the assortment features and the process to create a new assortment. Assortments define the product variety that will be available in a retail store. You can create many assortments that are assigned to each store and each store can have multiple assortments.
MODES OF DELIVERY FOR RETAIL
Modes of Delivery for retail is a requirement for retail companies to ship their products to their customers. Retail Stores now have the option to control the modes of delivery they use based on retail channel, products, and county/state combinations. This makes it very convenient for the salesperson to select the delivery mode a store is using and should help ensure the customer receives the correct products
RETAIL PRICE AND DISCOUNT GROUPS
In this module we are going to take a look at the retail price group and discount setup with Dynamics 365 for Retail.
RETAIL PRICING AND DISCOUNTS
In this module we are going to take a look at how to configure various types of Pricing and Discounts with Dynamics 365 for Retail. Dynamics 365 for Retail offers a variety of pricing and discounting options including quantity discounts, threshold discounts, mix and match discounts, and fixed and percentage based discounts.
RETAIL VENDOR CATALOGS
In this module, we will review the product order creation setup which are prerequisites for vendor catalog product input process. A vendor catalog is a catalog of products that is imported from a file that is provided by your vendor. This makes the setup process for new product creation more simplified.
REPLENISHMENT SETUP FOR RETAIL
In this module, we will review the replenishment setup. You can replenish the inventory at stores by using two methods: Cross docking or the Buyers Push. The idea of replenishment is to streamline the process to send products to your retail stores to restock the shelves based on the assortment in a particular store.
RETAIL REPLENISHMENT PROCESS
In this module, we will review the replenishment process including the cross docking process and the buyers push process through the purchase order.
RETAIL PRODUCT KIT FEATURES
In this module, we will review the new product Kit Features in Dynamics 365 for Retail. A kit is a grouping of products that are sold together. In some cases, you may sell the components of a kit individually, or you may only sell the components as part of the kit. With kits in Dynamics 365 fore Retail, you have the ability to assemble and dissemble the components of a kit and decide how the kit should print on invoices and receipts in the POS.
POS BASIC NAVIGATION
This module will focus on new features in Dynamics 365 for Retail, as well as basic navigation and architecture of the software. After completing the course, students will have a basic understanding of how to navigate and use the Cloud and Modern POS.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CASHIER
This module will demonstrate and discuss the functions cashiers use every day in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail POS. After completion, students will understand the functions used in both Modern POS and Cloud POS.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANAGER
This module will discuss the processes managers use every day in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail POS, including shift operations, manager drawer operations, opening processes, tender processes, closing processes, and income and expense accounts.
DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVENTORY MANAGER
This module will discuss the daily procedures of an inventory manager in retail stores. After completion of the course, students will learn the picking and receiving process, inventory lookup, perform stock counts, and understand the disassemble kits function in POS.
RETAIL REPORTS AND ANALYTICS OVERVIEW
This module will review the types of reports available out of the box in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
RETAIL SALES REPORTS
This module will focus on retail sales reports that are available out of the box in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
CALL CENTER REPORTS
This module will review reporting available for the call center retail channel in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
POS REPORTS
In this module, we will discuss reporting that is available out of the box in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition 365 for Retail POS for retail platform.
WORKSPACES
This module will review Workspaces in Dynamics 365 for Retail and their new role within the program. This course will also cover all the Retail workspaces available out of the box in Dynamics 365 for Retail. Last, we will cover Power BI and its functions for retail reporting.

This lesson introduces the user to the core features that make up the Call center module and catalog management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail.
