Guide: How to sit your Prince2 (and other exams) from home with Readynez Virtual

When do I get my exam code? 

To book your exam with PeopleCert, you will need an exam code, which will be sent to you in an email from PeopleCert. Expect it to arrive during your course with us. 

Where do I book my exam? 

When you´re ready to sit your exam, you go to peoplecert.org/login, create an account and you will be prompted to enter your Exam Code in order to book your exam.  

What is required to sit my exam from home? 

There is nothing complicated about sitting your exam from your own venue, but there are some requirements that you need to adhere to: 

•  Photo ID (A valid Government-issued ID that includes a photograph and date of birth in English characters, such as a National ID card, Passport, driving license, military card or social security card.)
•  A quiet room with sufficient light and a clean desk. No other persons are allowed to be present in the room.  
•  External or integrated Web camera able to rotate 360o
•  Primary computer or laptop screen resolution 1024x768 or higher, min. 15”
•  Windows® 10, 8.1, 8 or 7 / macOS Yosemite (10.10), El Capitan (10.11), Sierra (10.12) ,High Sierra (10.13) ,Mojave (10.14) or Catalina (10.15)
•  Internet connection >= 512/512 kbps (up/down)
•  Speakers and microphone

How do I document prerequisites? 

Some exams have prerequisites. For instance, the Prince2 Foundation exam is a prerequisite for the Prince2 Practitioner exam. 

You can upload your prerequisites to your PeopleCert Account by visiting peoplecert.org/profile and selecting “My Files / Library”. Please don’t forget to notify them via e-mail to customerservice@peoplecert.org once you have uploaded your prerequisites so that we review and approve them. For your convenience, it is suggested you upload your proof of prerequisites prior to your exam. 

What if something happens during the exam? 

The Proctor will be supervising the exam throughout the whole session. If something happens, you can contact the Proctor by talking to them directly or typing in the chatbox. In case of communication cannot be established, the Proctor will attempt to call you on the phone you have provided in your PeopleCert Account in order to inform you of the steps that need to be followed. 

Can I change answers during the exam? 

During the exam, you can navigate through the exam freely. You can move from one question to the next or skip questions and go back to them afterwards. 

You can also flag any question for which you need to review and change the answer. Keep in mind that you cannot make any changes once you click on End Exam or after the exam time is up. 

When do I get my results? 

PeopleCert announces the final results within 2 business days after your answers are officially submitted to them by the exam supervisor. In case you have received an email from PeopleCert informing you that there are pending actions from your side, please make sure that you complete the actions for the exam results to be issued. 

Note that your Official Results will not be released if there is information missing from your profile. 

When do I get my Certificate? 

When you pass the exam, along with the official results, you will also receive an electronic certificate. Both the official results and the electronic certificate will be uploaded to your PeopleCert Account.
